Gateway has only been able to grow and thrive for more than 25 years because of our incredible community: parents, alumni, neighbors, community partners, and public education champions from every sector and facet of our city. We hold events throughout the year to raise crucial funds that support our students and teachers, build connection and community, and celebrate the amazing things we can accomplish together on behalf of our kids.

A fun evening of delicious casual food and beer pairings as we gather at Standard Deviant to support Gateway. This low-key, festive event is perfect for alumni, folks interested in learning more about our work, families and friends of all stripes -- but only those 21+, please!

Our biggest event of the year! Each fall we put together a stellar program to engage our audience in Gateway's mission and how we can all make a difference, but that’s just the beginning! We honor our faculty and community members who are making an impact in the lives of our students, celebrate our young people, and have one heck of a party.
Social Spark Series
These intimate, bespoke events are opportunities for our community members to discover how their passions and interests intersect with our work at Gateway and what our partners are doing throughout San Francisco to make our community more just and equitable. Expect fine dining, refreshing beverages, and fascinating conversations.
