Ken Angelo

Ken is excited to be entering his tenth year at Gateway Middle School. Prior to working at Gateway, Ken spent eight years as a private practice marriage and family therapist.  He decided to focus on school-based counseling out of a love for community and desire to be part of a team dedicated to supporting youths.  He earned his school counseling credential at St. Mary’s college in 2012 and has been at Gateway ever since.  Outside of school, he enjoys working in his garden, cooking with the vegetables he grows, listening to music, and rooting for the Oakland Athletics.
