Elizabeth Colen (She/Her)

Elizabeth Colen is a native San Franciscan and a proud Gateway High graduate. She has worked at Gateway Middle School since it opened in 2011. She taught 6th grade humanities before transitioning to the 8th grade class in 2013 where she has taught since. She has held multiple other hats at GMS serving as the volleyball coach, the advisory lead, 8th grade lead, student counsel advisor and Board representative; however, she now focuses on teaching full time and spending her other time with her two young daughters. She loves to read, run and go on adventures when she isn't teaching.
